Canada’s Largest Ribfest

Canada’s Largest Ribfest is proudly organized by The Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore. This is our largest and most successful community event and has been around since we planned Ontario’s first Ribfest in 1996. Since that day, all proceeds collected have gone to charity.
Ghost Walks: Hermitage Ruins

Burlington Lawn Bowling Give Bowls a Try

Give lawn bowls a try a great sport for all ages, easy to learn and fun to master. Get some fresh air and gentle exercise, meet new friends and bring old ones. We are a not-for-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers.

Kerrfest & Kerrfest Kids

Location: Westwood Park, 173 Kerr St., Oakville
Kick off the fall season with Kerrfest and Kerrfest Kids back for 2025! The 9th Annual Kerrfest will run from September 5-6 in Westwood Park to kick off the Fall season! Enjoy live music, local food vendors and sponsor booths. Plus on Sunday September 7, enjoy family-friendly activities such as musical characters, and a market.
Head For the Hills: Craft Beverage Festival

Location: Trafalgar Sports Park, Georgetown
A day of craft beverage sampling, gourmet food, and live music in the beautiful countryside. It’s a guaranteed good time, rain or shine. The four service clubs of Georgetown — Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, and Kinsmen — united to launch Georgetown’s first-ever craft beverage festival in 2015. Since then, the Optimist Club of Halton Hills has joined their ranks. Head for the Hills is entirely volunteer-run and supports local charities.
OMHS Doggie Dip 2025

Under the Harvest Moon with Rufus Wainwright

Walk to the Lighthouse

The Fifth Annual Walk to the Lighthouse in support of Mental Health and Addiction Services at Joseph Brant Hospital takes place on Sunday September 21, 2025. Join to walk and support one another and raise funds for the redevelopment of Mental Health Services at JBH. All are welcome to this free event.
Halton Children’s Water Festival

Interactive water science demonstrations for school-aged children, hosted by Conservation Halton. A curriculum-linked education about all aspects of water through inquiry and investigation.
Culinary Kids Club
Date: September 28, 2025 (Recurring: one Sunday monthly, 1:30–3:30pm)
Location: Ireland House Museum, Burlington
Hands-on cooking classes for kids ages 8–12. Each session features a new theme, all supplies included. Pre-registration required.
