Physical distancing is the reality for the foreseeable future, and so we are reimagining the CIBC Run for the Cure. As October 4 approaches, we are developing an exciting virtual experience. Our plans include all the best things about Run Day: Connecting with your teammates, an inspirational opening ceremony, and a high-energy warm-up. Annual Great Pumpkin Stroll

Fieldcote is pleased to partner with Frank Panabaker Home & School Association and Ancaster Community Services for this “boo-tiful” event. Bring the whole family for some spooky fun in Fieldcote Memorial Park and savour the flavours of local food trucks. Everyone is encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and to submit a pumpkin for display. Deliver your carved and decorated pumpkin to the band stand at Fieldcote on October 24 from 10 am to 1 pm. Recognition will be presented for the most creative, the scariest, and the funniest pumpkin for businesses, schools and families.

12th Annual AGH BMO World Film Festival

Spencer Gorge Hiking Experience

Reserve your spot to enjoy the fall colours this year while hiking at Spencer Gorge Conservation Area. With your reserved two-hour time slot you have a chance to see Dundas Peak, Tew Falls and Webster Falls. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the overwhelming popularity of hiking to the Dundas Peak in the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area, Hamilton Conservation Authority has instituted an online reservation system. Conservation area visitors and HCA membership pass holders, will be required to make a reservation prior to their visit. Admission fees will be $10 per car and $5 per passenger, plus a $10 reservation fee. HCA membership pass holders will receive free admission, but will be required to pay the reservation fee to book. Bookings are rain or shine and must be made online in advance. Plan your hike at least a day ahead as visitors without advance reservation will not be permitted entry. No walk-up or drive-up entry will be admitted without advance reservation.
