Should you wait for the spring to list your home on the market? My advice: absolutely not! There are a ton of benefits to listing in the winter.

During this time of the year, companies are relocating their employees, which means they’re looking for a home in the GTA. Buyers who are looking in these cold months aren’t “just looking” like other buyers do in the summer. They are seriously motivated! No one wants to get their hats and mittens out to look for homes just for fun.

There’s less inventory on the market, absorption rates are higher and the competition is lower. People are more likely to get offers that are closer to their asking price than they would in the spring/summer time.
