L7S Home Report

Inventory continues to be very low in downtown Burlington with only 1 month’s supply available for sale according to RAHB data for Maple and Central neighbourhoods.  55 active listings which represents the continuation of the lowest inventory levels in the past 10 years for this time of year.  This time last year there were 82 active listings and the previous year 144!  Low supply and high demand pressures will continue to move prices up.  However, part of what is driving this market is the fear of not being able to purchase a property…stopping people from listing their properties who would otherwise be interested sellers.
